The airline Vueling will operate in the Canary Islands two new routes with which it will unite the city of Lyon-Saint Exupéry (France) with Gran Canaria and Tenerife once a week in the winter season 2017/18.


The new links are already available and will start flying from October 29 2017 and November 4 2017, respectively, with a weekly frequency.

Vueling has put on sale two new routes in the Canary Islands for the next winter season. These are the links Tenerife South Airport (TFS) – Lyon (LYS) and Gran Canaria-Lyon (LYS), which are now available through all Vueling channels (web, app and travel agencies). Both routes will fly once a week with airplanes of the Airbus A320 models, with capacity for 180 passengers.

The route to Lyon is not the only novelty for the next winter season from the Canary archipelago. Along with it, the domestic routes to Granada are also launched from Tenerife (South) as well as from Gran Canaria, with two weekly frequencies starting on December 4 in both cases.

From Tenerife, the rest of the program consists of ten routes from the South airport to Barcelona, ​​Birmingham, Malaga, Manchester, Nantes, Paris (Orly), Rome (Fiumicino), Valencia, Zaragoza and Zurich, and five others from the airport North to: Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Malaga, Santiago de Compostela and Seville.

As regards Gran Canaria, the winter season will consist of nine national and international routes to Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Geneva, Malaga, Nantes, Paris (Orly), Rome (Fiumicino), Seville and Zurich.
